Panda is one of the extinct animals in this world. Their habitat is in South-western China. Scientists currently estimate the population of the giant panda at only 1,600, making panda an endangered species. Panda is one of the bear families.

Panda’s size when they are born is around 15 to 17 cm in length and 4.5 to 5.2cm for the tail. Other than that, for their body weight, it is around 36 to 269 grams, weighing to 1/933 of a mother. When they were babies, they were too small just like a naked rat with closed eyes and pink body and, they cannot stand on foot. In 3 months, they are about 5 to 6.5 kg, while 6 months about 12.35 kg.

Pandas are classified as carnivores. However, their diet is closer to that of herbivores. Since the panda’s digestive system is not very efficient, they must consume large quantities of bamboos every day, in order to obtain the nutrition they need. Panda’s main food is fresh bamboo.

The giant panda just eat 11 to 13 kilograms per-day during this season, and the scope of activity achieves the smallest of the year, saving the active-consumed energy.

Forests are under attack by dramatic increases in human population. Agriculture, ranching, logging, trapping, and human settlement dramatically threaten their habitat. Previously, they lived at lower elevations but farming and clearing of the forest have pushed them huger into the mountains. Panda’s habitat rapidly decrease because on human population and migration to their habitat.

Human greed on development of country with building and technologies are also the reason panda’s population decrease. Human are too busy their own life until they forget the awareness of environmental protection.

World Wildlife Fund, the leading organization in wildlife conservation and endangered species. Panda’s extinction problem need to be avoided because they are the only things, the natural things from this earth that are so valuable and priceless, they can't be made by man or machine and to and maintain the ecological balances.

WWF Parisian Panda campaign, placed 1,600 hand-painted figurines in the grounds of the Paris Hotel de Ville, represented the exact number of pandas that a recent survey had reported were living in the wild. In order to prevent it before the real extinction happen, we can create public awareness about this issues by campaign, advertise on television, make a documentary, class taught and other. In campaign we can include activities that can taught people about this issue and also try to attract a volunteer for prevention of animal extinct.
